At WorthPointe, we believe giving back to the communities we serve is important and we’re proud to have a client-driven giving strategy. In addition to working with you to find the best options for your donations, we also give as a company. Below are some of our favorite charities, all of which our clients helped us find.
Since 1980, Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego has provided a “home away from home” to families pursuing essential pediatric treatments at San Diego hospitals.
We are a proud supporter of the Center for Child Protection, a Travis County child advocacy center that has a mission of reducing the trauma children experience during the investigation and prosecution of crimes against them.
In Austin and North Texas, Foundation Communities owns and operates 16 properties that provide affordable housing to over 2,500 low-income families; creates enriching learning environments for children; and provides continuing education for adults.
One of our San Diego clients is an active member of the Mission Bay Women’s Club, where she’s on a committee working with the Honor Flight Network, helping to send countless San Diego veterans to Washington, D.C. to see memorials in their honor.
Relief Nursery’s mission is to prevent the cycle of child abuse and neglect by early intervention that focuses on building successful and resilient children, strengthening parents, and preserving families.
The First Tee is a non-profit organization that uses golf to teach life-enhancing values, build character, and encourage healthy life choices in young people throughout the greater Austin area.
WorthPointe supports the LA Guardian Jewish Home for the Aging golf tournament, which is held annually every July and was recently renamed the Bill Belzberg Memorial Longest Day of Golf.
Kinder4Rescue was established by Laurel Kinder in 1998 as a registered not for profit, dedicated to rescuing and rehoming dogs in need in the Los Angeles area.
Christopher Van Slyke, Morgan Smith and a few WorthPointe clients participate in the Seal Legacy Foundation golf tournament at the Spanish Oaks Golf Club to raise money for our fallen Navy Seal veterans.
