Josh Young, CAIA®, CFA®

Over Josh’s 19 years of experience in the institutional investment industry he became increasingly concerned with the politicization of investing and the impact it had on investment products used by investors. With this concern in mind Josh joined Worthpointe to help build a next generation wealth management firm on the idea that the wisdom on which this country was founded can be applied to wealth management.

Josh earned a BA in Economics from the University of New Hampshire and a MS in Investment Management from Boston University Questrom School of Business. He earned the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation in 2012 and became Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charter holder in 2014. Josh sits on the Board of Directors of the Southwest Public Policy Institute and is a member of the CFA Society Austin.

In his spare time Josh enjoys golfing, reading history, exploring new breweries and spending time with his family.

He currently resides in Georgetown, Texas with his wife and sons.
