Morgan Smith, IMBA, CFP®

Morgan H Smith Jr. is a Partner with the firm, an author, speaker, and experienced financial advisor who has over 20 years of experience working with families, trusts, and business owners.

He holds an International MBA from the University of San Diego (USD), is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNING PROFESSIONAL™.

Morgan is an F-14 Tomcat Naval Flight Officer military veteran with 150 aircraft carrier landings and was involved in combat operations in the Persian Gulf with Fighter Squadron 51. He also taught leadership and management and engineering systems as an Assistant Professor of Naval Science at the NROTC Unit at USD.

He was a caretaker for both of his parents who passed away. This experience inspired him to write his book “Generation Squeezed: A Holistic Guide to Taking Care of Aging Parents” to help others in similar situations.

Morgan has a firm belief in the values that have been the foundation for our country and has pursued a spiritual practice through formal meditative studies and practice.

In his spare time, Morgan enjoys activities with his wife and son that include Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, hiking, surfing, and playing guitar.
