MATT ADDINGTON, CFP®
PARTNER, FINANCIAL PLANNER Dallas - Fort Worth, TXHis colleagues have often described his personality as a natural fit for financial planning. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Matt helps his clients make thoughtful decisions about their finances for immediate and long-term security.
What attracted Matt to WorthPointe is our unique approach to putting clients’ best interest first. WorthPointe team members receive no source of revenue other than what their clients pay directly, which means they’re not incentivized by commissions or sales competition. They honor their fiduciary duty to all clients at all times. This philosophy made WorthPointe a perfect professional home for Matt.
Matt appreciates WorthPointe’s teamwork approach and spirit of collaboration. He regularly works alongside fellow advisors to craft creative solutions to clients’ everyday challenges and unusual obstacles — serving as a primary contact point between them and the WorthPointe team.

Matt earned his BA in business administration from Tarleton State University in 2001. For over a decade, he counseled clients on their investment options at various firms, including TD Ameritrade and Fidelity, before joining WorthPointe. Those years of combined technical and personal experiences equipped him to serve clients with a wide range of complex financial situations.
Matt loves to spend free time with his wife and high school sweetheart, Candace, and their three children: Garrett, Ellie Kate, and Audrey Jane. Baseball, football, basketball, dance, cheerleading, and gymnastics keep the family busy, and he gets in practice on the golf course when he can swing it. The Addingtons are actively involved volunteers and members at Milestone Church in Keller, Texas, and went on their first mission trip to Guatemala in June 2016.
